Since 2020, Spectrum Care has been a proud sponsor of the Dignity Postcards, an initiative that has revolutionised how care professionals approach person-centred care. These cards act as a vital tool, providing clear guidance to carers on how to deliver care that maintains the dignity of the individuals they support. Sponsorship of this initiative goes beyond just placing our logo on these cards – it's about joining forces with the National Dignity Council to spread a message that resonates deeply with care providers and those they care for. 

Our Ongoing Commitment: Supporting Over 100,000 Dignity Postcards 

Since we first began sponsoring the Dignity Postcards in December 2020, we’ve seen the powerful impact these cards have had on care practices. To date, the National Dignity Council has distributed over 100,000 postcards and Spectrum has contributed significantly by sponsoring the distribution of two types of postcards – the Welcome and Social Care feedback cards. These postcards work together to promote and measure the level of dignity delivered in care services.

The Welcome Cards provide ten clear explanations of what dignity looks like, helping both staff and service users or patients understand the standards being set by the service. These cards set expectations for dignity, ensuring everyone is aligned on the values of respect and care. The Feedback Cards, based on the same ten statements, offer a way for service users or patients to provide feedback on their experience in relation to dignity. This allows the organisation to assess how well it is meeting its stated dignity standards and make improvements where necessary.
